This kid is 15 years old. If you close your eyes you'd swear you were hearing Johnny Cash. It's just not natural that a kids voice should be so deep. Vinnie Miranda is one of the Pike Place Market buskers. He announced that he's on his way to work on his first album with Johnny Cash Jr.

In the evening there was a free concert at Victor Steinbrueck Park. The first performers were the Sedentary Sousa Band. We've all seen marching bands. These guys live up to their name. Their sedentary majorette even twirls her baton from her chair.

Other replicas of Rachel were around the Market collecting donations for the Foundation. This guy was particularly good at heckling the crowd and using guilt for getting donations.

A giant float replica of Rachel the Pig was at the center of the market. Rachel is a bronze piggy bank that guards the main entrance to the market. For locals, she is a favorite meeting spot at the Market. Over the years she has collected over $100,000. The donations benefit the Pike Place Market Foundation...

Though most buskers were taking their turn at various spots throughout the Market, the event organizers had set up this antique car as a "stage" for the buskers. It may be hard to see, but this guy is playing a saw. Too bad I can't share the sound here with you!

I think that in this photo the horse is giving a bit of a coy look to the camera. Maybe he knew something I didn't!
