National parks and beaches in Florida

Ever since my visit to the Big Cypress National Preserve in Florida, I have been smitten by nature. In my idea Florida was a lot of concrete, beaches, and hot summers. But Florida is a cool place with cool people and the state has nine national parks that are incredibly diverse.  We went there in April, although the days were more than warm, it was great to hike around trying to spot bugs and butterflies. The swamps have a magical quailty. Wish to be back here and try my hand at hunting white-tail deer.

If you ever take a Florida holiday, do consider visiting the national parks in this beautiful state. The beaches that are to be found here caressing the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean are some of the best in the world.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to add that to my "to go to" list. Smile
