Now that October is in full swing my inbox is full of invitations to events across the USA celebrating fall. U.S. farms are opening for people to come and pick their own pumpkins and apples, weekend festivals are being held in almost every city, beer and wine festivals are popular now, some towns have cornstalk mazes, and haunted houses are beginning to pop up in hopes of scaring the bravest of the brave.
