    Hello, my name is Sabrina, I work for a travel agency in Argentina: www.athelem.com, i´m the coordinator of disability area.
    I am looking for companions for the blind in EEUU. It´s for a client who is travelling to new york for business. We need  this person to be available to receive him at the airport and accompany him everywhere.
     
    I will appreciate if you can give us any contact who do that, or search it for us.

    Hello Sabrina,

     The American Council for the Blind (ACB) lists Big Apple Greeter as a source for information for travelers with disabilities.  Their website states that they have volunteer guides.  I think they would be a good resource to ask for a guide experienced with working with the blind.  http://www.bigapplegreeter.org/

    The ACB also lists some travel agencies in the U.S. who specializing in assisting the visually impaired.  This is a nationwide list.  But I did see at least one agency who mentions New York City.  But even if the guides don't operate in NYC, they may be able to refer you to someone.  http://www.acb.org/resources/travel.html
