Hi

Me and my husband are planning a trip in jun first week of westcoast from Las vegas to san francisco .via Grand Canyon ,San Diego Zoo,Los angeles,Monterey Bay, San Francisco, Yosemite Natl Pk ,Sequoia and Kings Canyon and then back to San Francisco.

Any suggestion on

The must see or do  things,

Hotels resonably priced and comfortbale to sleep and good shower (neat and clean) with free parking.

Car hire ..(as we plan to hire a car in Las vegas and dirve all the way.)

Where its worth giving more time and what can be avoided ..please share your experince and your suggestions are more then welcomed.

Are you planning just 1 week to see all of that?  If so, I don't think you can see everything you mentioned in that time.  And everything you mentioned is worth seeing.  For each of those places you should spend AT LEAST one full day seeing the sights.   Exceptions are Monterey, which is a smaller town and can be seen in half a day.  And the San Diego Zoo, which can also take a half day.  But of course if you are in San Diego you should see other sights like Balboa Park and the historic gas lamp district.

You can search for hotels and cars here:  http://www.usatourist.com/english/reservations/Reservations-Hotels.html and http://www.usatourist.com/english/reservations/Reservations-Cars.html  You'll see the prices for each for comparison.  And you can see user reviews as well as what amenities the hotels offer, like free parking.  The parking is something you'll definitely want to look for at the hotels in the big cities.  But for the other locations you can generally assume it is available.
