We are facing an economic crisis that is the worst in over 7 years. Our stock market is in shambles. Our banks are near collapse, and our housing industry is burnt out. Yet, the mood in the USA is optimistic! It is not a wild, carefree

re: The Mood in the USA

This is not entirely true. Now that the economy in the USA has soured and 20-40% of our citizens are unemployed, the mood here is very depressed. The violence and drug use is increasing, and taxes etc are at an all time high.

In fact in my neighborhood, tourists regularly get robbed {8-o Particularly for iPhones, cash, and other valuables.

America is not the Mom and Apple Pie place it;s made out to be. Our murder rate is the highest amongst developed countries, our illegal immigration is out of control, and the taxes are incredible as mentioned before.

So, have fun when visiting but be aware of the realities and truth of the USA.
