  I left Jackson early in the morning. It's taken me 8 weeks to recognize it, but I think the secret to effective traveling is getting up early. I also figured out another secret: heating up water and washing myself with that instead of ice-cold snow...   After leaving Yellowstone I drove south through the Grand Teton National Park. It was very nice, with great views of the Teton Mountains and the many lakes and rivers in the area.
