The great wildfire, known as the station fire, has burned out of control for nearly a month near Los Angeles.  It caused the destruction of many suburban homes and the deterioration of the air quality in Los Angeles.  Firefighters have finally prevailed in containing the fire.  It is now nearly 98% contained and its effects are greatly diminished.  You can now visit Los Angeles without worrying about smoke pollution.  Unfortunately, the normal air pollution from autos is still an issue.
